Youth Programs (Ages 15-18)

EIE – Are you looking for the ultimate high school semester? The Eisendrath International Exchange High School in Israel is the only program of its kind. EIE offers Jewish History, Hebrew, exploring Israel, and ALL of your general high school required classes (maths, sciences, history and more!).
College and Post- College Programs (Ages 18+)

Peace, Justice, and the Environment: Spend a semester at Kibbutz Lotan earning 6 College credits. Explore the connections between new forms of ecological identity and stewardship, social justice and community in Israel. Work alongside Palestinian-Arab, Bedouin and Jewish Israelis who are striving for a just and lasting peace. Gain practical experience in ecological design, green building and sustainable agriculture. Put permaculture into action in authentic cross-cultural situations.

Tikkun Olam: Live in Israel's most exciting city -Tel Aviv - the economic, cultural and social capital of the country, and the world's first modern Hebrew city! Volunteer for 5 or 10 months with new immigrants, African refugees and others while studying the relationship between volunteer work and Judaism, or focus on co-existence issues in Jaffa. The program is a partnership between the URJ (NFTY), The Daniel Centers of Tel Aviv and BINA.

The Green Apprenticeship: Begin to understand and create alternative solutions for the issues facing the modern world by learning about local food production, Permaculture, Ecological design techniques, Natural/alternative building, Sustainable technologies – composting toilets, grey and black water purification systems, solar ovens, geodesic domes, Community Design, Environmental Ethics and More. Choose a 7-week intensive program or spend five months at Lotan, a Reform Zionist Kibbutz!
